A Carbon Neutral Plus Organisation

We are committed to tackling the climate emergency - designing and delivering affordable, Net Zero Carbon homes that are significantly addressing fuel poverty.

In 2022, we signed the 2030 RIBA Climate Challenge and decided to look at our own footprint and impact, so we are super excited to announce we are now a Carbon Neutral Plus Organisation. We worked with The Carbon Footprint Standard to analyse our business carbon usage to reduce what we were using and offset the remaining carbon. We wanted to go beyond being just zero carbon, so we offset an additional 25% of our carbon usage through a number of community projects to become Carbon Neutral Plus.

We are delighted to have our achievement featured in Architecture Magazine & by Unlock Net Zero.

Net Zero Carbon Housing

The Future Homes Standard confirmed all new homes would be required to be highly energy efficient, with low carbon heating and be zero carbon ready by 2025, which means these homes are expected to produce 75-80% less carbon emissions compared to current levels. We are proud to be one of the only UK architects who has delivered NZC socially rented homes, where people are all moved in and enjoying the benefits of reduced fuel bills. Following the energy hierarchy : Be Lean, Be Clean, Be Green and Be Seen, we have now delivered from design to completion multiple net zero carbon schemes utilising MMC and OSM and further in the planning stages.

To help organisations approach and integrate this technology we are rolling out plain talking webinars and seminars running through our design approach. If you would like to book a webinar / seminar, or just have a chat, email us at Enable JavaScript to view protected content.
